The Spanish Grand Prix took place on 9 May 2021 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and covered a distance of 66 laps of 4.675 km each, for a total distance of 308.424.

Lewis Hamilton of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team started the race from position 1 in his Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance race car. He thus achieved his 100th pole position overall and leads this classification by a wide margin. In the fourth race of the season he showed a flawless performance and in the end took the victory without any problems.
